Reece Beekman's decision to remain in the NBA Draft or withdraw and return to Virginia for another season will largely be informed by what happens at the NBA Draft Combine this week. The combine began on Monday at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago and runs through May 21st. Beekman is one of the top 78 draft prospects attending the combine, where players will have interviews with NBA teams, participate in five-on-five scrimmages, and go through various drills.

On the first day of the combine on Monday, the prospects were measured and then participated in strength and agility drills and shooting exercises. Here's a look at Reece Beekman's measurements at the NBA Draft combine:

Reece Beekman
Height (without shoes): 6'1.5"
Weight: 190.6 pounds
Wingspan: 6'7.00"
Hand length: 8.50"
Hand width: 8.25"
Standing reach: 8'4.50"
Max vertical reach: 11'9.5"

Note: Beekman was listed at 6'3" and 190 pounds on Virginia's official roster this season.

Beekman turned in some impressive marks in a few of the drills on Monday as well. He ran the 3/4 court sprint in 3.14 seconds, which was the second-fastest time recorded by any player at the combine. His 38.0" in the vertical leap was the eighth-highest mark at the combine. Beekman also tested well in a mid-range shooting drill called "Side-Mid-Side", knocking down 17 of his 30 shot attempts for a 56.7% shooting percentage, the third-best mark among all players at the combine.

Beekman is currently projected as a late second round pick in most of the latest mock drafts, but his efforts to move that needle have certainly gotten off to a great start based on his marks on the first day of the combine. The UVA point guard will look to continue to raise his draft stock in the five-on-five scrimmages later this week. The full NBA combine scrimmage rosters have been announced and Beekman is on a team with some familiar names, including Miami guard Isaiah Wong and Clemson forward Hunter Tyson.

The NBA Draft Combine will be broadcast live on ESPN2 from 2-6pm ET on Wednesday and from 4-8pm ET on Thursday.
