The Virginia men's basketball team will reportedly play a neutral-site non-conference game against Florida in the 2023-2024 college basketball season, according to a report by Jon Rothstein on Tuesday afternoon.

Per the report, there will be an ACC-SEC doubleheader on November 10th, 2023 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte. The doubleheader will feature a game between Virginia and Florida and another game between Virginia Tech and South Carolina, although those participants and matchups have yet to be confirmed in an official announcement.

The Cavaliers and Gators have played each other three times, but this will be the first regular season meeting between the two programs. Florida leads the all-time series 2-1, including a pair of victories over Virginia in the 2012 and 2017 NCAA Tournaments. UVA's lone win against Florida came in the 1992 NIT.

Virginia is also slated to play in the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament from November 20-22 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, Florida. UVA is joined by West Virginia, SMU, and Wisconsin in the four-team Beach Division field for the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

Additionally, Virginia will face another SEC team in non-conference play in the 2023-2024 season as part of the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge, which is set to replace the ACC/Big Ten Challenge next season.
