Virginia is set to host its first transfer portal visitor of the offseason. Saint Mary's transfer forward Joshua Jefferson has scheduled a series of official visits, beginning with a visit to UVA this upcoming weekend April 12-14, per a report from Jon Rothstein. Jefferson will then visit Iowa State and VCU on the next two weekends of April.

A 6'8", 220-pound forward from Las Vegas, Jefferson started all 26 games for the Gaels this season, averaging 10.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. He shot 26.7% from three on 2.3 attempts per contest and shot 46.9% from the floor. Jefferson posted four double-doubles this season, including a 16-point, 11-rebound effort in a victory over Gonzaga.

Unfortunately for Jefferson and the Gaels, he underwent knee surgery in February and missed the rest of the season.

Jefferson, who still earned an All-WCC honorable mention despite missing the last several games with the injury, entered the transfer portal at the end of the season and has two years of eligibility remaining.

Jefferson will be the first transfer portal visitor of the offseason for the Cavaliers, who currently have two scholarship spots available.
