Virginia Makes Top 7 for 2024 Four-Star Forward Caleb Williams
UVA is in the mix for another target in the recruiting class of 2024. Four-star forward Caleb Williams cut his recruitment to seven schools on Thursday morning and included Virginia along with Villanova, Michigan, Indiana, Syracuse, Georgetown, and Miami.
A 6'7" wing from Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C., Williams had offers from a dozen schools, but narrowed his list to these seven programs, cutting out offers from Maryland, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Virginia Tech. The 247Sports Composite has Williams rated as a four-star prospect as well as the No. 92 overall recruit in the class of 2024 and the No. 2 player in Washington D.C.
Williams has taken official visits to Michigan, Indiana, Villanova, and Georgetown and unofficially visited Virginia twice last year.
Williams has yet to set a date for his college decision, but On3's Joe Tipton reported on Thursday that the decision will come "in the near future."
