Virginia Ranked No. 22 in Latest AP Top 25 Men's Basketball Poll

The Cavaliers made their return to the AP Top 25 after winning their only game last week and seeing a few previously ranked teams suffer losses

Virginia is ranked No. 22 in the latest AP Top 25 Men's Basketball Poll released on Monday. The Cavaliers returned to the Top 25 after winning their only game last week, a 77-47 victory over NC Central for their fourth-consecutive win. UVA moving back into the Top 25 was mostly the product of ranked teams losing last week, namely San Diego State and Texas A&M falling out of the Top 25. 

With Virginia back in the AP Top 25, there are now five ranked ACC teams: No. 9 North Carolina, No. 13 Clemson, No. 21 Duke, No. 22 Virginia, and No. 24 Miami. Interestingly, the Cavaliers are ranked one spot ahead of Wisconsin, the team responsible for UVA's lone loss of the season. The Badgers stayed put at No. 23 after suffering a 25-point loss to No. 1 Arizona on Saturday.
