Virginia is ranked No. 24 in the latest AP Top 25 Men's Basketball Poll released on Monday. The Cavaliers moved into the Top 25 for the first time this season after picking up wins over North Carolina A&T and Texas Southern to improve to 4-0. UVA has also defeated Tarleton State and Florida this season. 

Virginia was ranked in every AP poll in the 2022-2023 season, starting at No. 18 in the preseason, rising as high as No. 2 in the country, and then finishing at No. 14 in the final poll. 

With the Cavaliers cracking the AP Top 25, there are now four ranked ACC teams: No. 9 Duke, No. 10 Miami, No. 14 North Carolina, and No. 24 Virginia. UVA currently has games scheduled against four AP Top 25 teams this season: No. 12 Texas A&M (11/29), No. 10 Miami (2/5), No. 14 North Carolina (2/24), and No. 9 Duke (3/2).
