Virginia to Face Boston College in Quarterfinals of ACC Tournament

No. 3 seed Virginia will take on No. 11 seed Boston College in the quarterfinals of the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament on Thursday night

The ACC quarterfinals are set. No. 3 seed Virginia (22-9) will take on No. 11 seed Boston College (19-14) in the quarterfinals of the 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament on Thursday night at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The game will tip off at approximately 9:30pm, or roughly 25 minutes after the conclusion of third quarterfinal game between No. 2 seed Duke and No. 10 seed NC State, and will be televised on ESPN.

Boston College pulled the upset over No. 6 seed Clemson in the second round on Wednesday night, sending the Tigers home early with a dominant 76-55 victory. That sets up a quick rematch between the Eagles and the Cavaliers, as these two teams met just two weeks ago in Chestnut Hill, with Virginia prevailing on the road 72-68. Reece Beekman led UVA with 18 points and eight assists, while Isaac McKneely and Jake Groves each knocked down three three-pointers in the win.
