Virginia moved to 2-0 on the season with a hard-earned 73-70 victory over Florida on Friday night in Charlotte.
Freshman center Blake Buchanan led the way for the Cavaliers with 18 points, 14 of which came in the second half, to go along with seven rebounds. Reece Beekman tallied 13 points, five assists, and four steals and Ryan Dunn added six points, eight rebounds, and six steals. Virginia's 15 steals as a team were the most for the program since 2015.
