Five Virginia football players were among the "best of the best" draft-eligible prospects in college football named to the Reese's Senior Bowl watch list on Wednesday. Kam Butler, Malcolm Greene, Chico Bennett, Sackett Wood, and Jahmeer Carter were listed on the watch list for the 11th annual Reese's Senior Bowl.

The Reese's Senior Bowl serves as the first step in the NFL Draft process, with many of the top draft-eligible players participating in the game each year in Mobile, Alabama.

Last season, Virginia defensive back Anthony Johnson and wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks were selected to play in the Senior Bowl. Wicks ended up getting selected by the Green Bay Packers in the NFL Draft, while Johnson signed with the New Orleans Saints.

The watch list does not include juniors who could become eligible as graduates in December 2023. The list will also be updated throughout the season as the Senior Bowl staff scouts continue to evaluate seniors playing their final seasons of college football.

The 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl will take place on February 3rd at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
