Virginia Football Releases Depth Chart for North Carolina Game

- There are some significant changes on the offensive line coming out of the bye week: Ugonna Nnanna is now the starter at right guard with Ty Furnish backing him up and Jimmy Christ is now starting at right tackle with Blake Steen as his backup - the starters were previously Furnish at right guard and Nnanna at right tackle. Jack Witmer is now the backup to McKale Boley at left tackle.
- Some more shifting in the ordering of Virginia's running back trio, with Perris Jones returning to the top of the depth chart followed by Kobe Pace and Mike Hollins.
- There are no changes at wide receiver, tight end, or quarterback.
- On the defensive side, Ben Smiley is resuming his duties as the starter at defensive end with Bryce Carter behind him. There are no other changes on the defensive line.
- Josh Ahern is not listed on this week's depth chart as he broke a bone in his thumb and underwent surgery. James Jackson is starting at Will linebacker with Stevie Bracey behind him and Kam Robinson is starting at Mike linebacker with Trey McDonald backing him up.
- Malcolm Greene is back from his injury and is listed on the depth chart as the backup to Sam Westfall at right corner. With Lex Long still out, Virginia's strong safety position is Dave Herard and Caleb Hardy.
- There are no changes to the depth chart on special teams.
Virginia (1-5, 0-2 ACC) travels to take on No. 10 North Carolina (6-0, 3-0 ACC) on Saturday at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill. Kickoff is set for 6:30pm on The CW Network.
