The 2023 ACC Football Preseason Poll was released on Tuesday morning, unveiling the predicted order of finish for the ACC's 14 teams according to a vote of 176 media personnel. In the first year of a division-less Atlantic Coast Conference, Virginia was picked to finish 14th, or in last place, at the end of the season. 

The Cavaliers received 365 total points, nearly 200 points below the 13th-place team, Boston College. Clemson is favored to win the ACC title for the eighth time in the last nine years, receiving 103 first-place votes and 2,370 total points. Florida State followed with 67 first-place votes and 2,304 points and North Carolina was third with five first-place votes and 1,981 points.

The 2023 college football season is the first with the ACC's new scheduling model, which eliminates divisions. The top two teams based on conference winning percentage will play in the 2023 ACC Football Championships Game on December 2nd at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
