Virginia Signs Wide Receiver Transfers Andre Greene Jr. and Trell Harris
Virginia head coach Tony Elliott announced the official signing of transfer wide receivers Andre Greene Jr. and Quentrell "Trell" Harris on Sunday. Greene and Harris join UVA's 2024 signing class as the sixth and seventh transfers and both will enroll at Virginia in January.
Andre Greene Jr., a transfer from North Carolina and native of Richmond, Virginia, announced his commitment to UVA on December 22nd, choosing the Cavaliers over Penn State. He appeared in 11 games over the last two seasons in Chapel Hill and posted five receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown. Greene comes to Virginia with three years of eligibility remaining.
Trell Harris transfers to UVA after spending the last two seasons at Kent State, where he played in 19 total games, including 11 appearances in 2023, tallying 26 receptions for 400 yards and a touchdown. He chose the Cavaliers over Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Indiana, West Virginia, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, and others. A native of La Grange, Illinois, he comes to Virginia with two years of eligibility remaining.
Andre Greene Jr. and Trell Harris will each enroll at Virginia in January and participate in spring football practice. A total of six transfers and seven freshmen will join the UVA football program next semester.
