Another week, another player of the week award for Malik Washington. The senior wide receiver continued his phenomenal season with a fantastic performance at Miami on Saturday and garnered ACC Receiver of the Week honors for the second-straight week and third time this season.

Washington tied a career-high with 12 receptions and also tallied 152 yards in the overtime loss at Miami, his sixth game with at least 100 receiving yards this season. He is now tied with Dontayvion Wicks and Germane Crowell for most games with 100 or more receiving yards in a single season in UVA program history and he is the only Cavalier to have three-consecutive 100-yard games two times in one season. Washington is just the fourth Virginia receiver to earn the ACC weekly award multiple times in a season.

Washington's 64-yard catch in the second quarter tied his career-long reception and was the second-longest play from scrimmage for UVA this season. He has recorded at least one reception in 33-consecutive games. Washington currently leads the ACC and is third in the entire country in receptions (68) and receiving yards (935).
