Just four months after suffering a life-threatening gunshot wound that claimed the lives of three of his teammates, Virginia fifth-year running back Mike Hollins is back on the field practicing as the UVA football team begins spring practice. 

Hollins spoke with the media via Zoom after practice on Tuesday and commented on his feelings about returning to the field, the details of his recovery process, the support of family, friends, teammates, coaches, and the UVA community, and how the memory of his fallen teammates - Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler, and D'Sean Perry - has motivated him in his return to playing football.
