Three former Virginia men's basketball players are set to participate in the 2023 NBA Summer League, which begins Monday, July 3rd and runs through Monday, July 17th.

Armaan Franklin, who last week signed an Exhibit 10 Contract with the newly-crowned NBA Champion Denver Nuggets, will get his first opportunity to suit up for the Nuggets in the Summer League. Franklin will wear No. 23 and will look to prove he deserves a permanent spot on Denver's roster for next season.

Kihei Clark, meanwhile, will play for the Utah Jazz in the NBA Summer League. Clark will wear No. 40 and will get a few extra chances to prove his worth as the Jazz host the Salt Lake City Summer League from July 3-July 6 with games against the Thunder, Sixers, and Grizzlies, before heading to Las Vegas for the league-wide NBA 2K24 Summer League, which begins July 7th. Every NBA team participates in the NBA 2K24 Summer League, but the teams who also participate in the Salt Lake City Summer League (Jazz, Thunder, Sixers, Grizzlies or the California Classic Summer League (Lakers, Kings, Warriors, Spurs, Heat, Hornets) beforehand get to play a few extra games.

Another former Cavalier who helped Virginia win the 2019 National Championship will be participating in the NBA Summer League as well, as former UVA forward Braxton Key is on the Summer League roster of the Dallas Mavericks. Key, who played three games with the Detroit Pistons last season, but most recently played for Vaqueros de Bayamon of the Puerto Rican league this spring, will wear No. 36 for the Mavericks and will look to make the most of his latest opportunity to prove he belongs in the NBA.

Here's a complete schedule of all of the NBA Summer League games featuring a former Wahoo, including details on how to watch each game. One game that should be highlighted is the matchup between the Denver Nuggets and the Utah Jazz on July 12th at 9:30pm ET, a game that will feature Armaan Franklin and Kihei Clark on opposing teams.
