Can Virginia Tech Land 2025 IMG Academy Cornerback Major Preston when he commits tomorrow?
A big Virginia Tech target is coming off of the board tomorrow. 2025 cornerback Major Preston, who plays at IMG Academy in Florida, will be announcing his college commitment tomorrow night. While Virginia Tech is hoping to land this 2025 player, the 247Sports Crystal Ball is leaning towards Ole Miss right now.
Ole Miss insider David Johnson logged a prediction earlier today for the Rebels to land the talented cornerback. Now, Crystal Ball predictions are not always correct, but it might give an indication of where this recruitment could be headed. Preston is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports Composite, ranking as the No. 623 player in the country, No. 56 cornerback, and No. 87 player in the state of Florida. He holds offers from Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Florida, Colorado, Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M, among others.
