Despite entering their bye on a three-game winning streak, including an impressive victory over NCAA Tournament finalist North Carolina, Wake Forest did not earn a vote in this week's AP Poll. The Deacs were voted once three weeks ago.

All three ACC teams from last week's AP Top 25 stay in this week's edition. Virginia moved from No. 8 to 7 after a controversial overtime win against Duke.

Miami jumps four spots after also beating Duke, but keeping things too close for comfort in a win over lowly Louisville.

NC State falls one rank to No. 23 following a loss to Virginia, but recovering well with a 30-point drubbing of Boston College.

And, after going 2-0 on the week, Pittsburgh earned significantly more votes, but did not quite crack the rankings.
