Former Washington State QB Cameron Ward Gets 20/1 Heisman Odds For 2024

After a spectacular showing in 2023 for Washington State, quarterback Cameron Ward's offseason was one that had plenty of eyes on it, first entering the transfer portal, then declaring for the NFL Draft, then deciding to sign with the University of Miami.

One thing's for sure, Ward's time at WSU put him in the national spotlight. He threw for at-least 3200 yards and at-least 23 touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. Now, he's receiving serious looks for the sport's highest individual honor.

On Bet365, Ward has 20/1 odds to win the Heisman with the Hurricanes. His new team will open up the season on August 31 at Florida. He has the fifth-best odds to win the award. Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has the best odds at 8/1.

All together, Ward has played four seasons of college football up to this point. He played two (including a shortened 2020 season) with Incarnate Word and then two with the Cougars. His career stats to this point including just under 14,000 yards passing and 135 total touchdowns.

The Heisman trophy is typically awarded in early December with the finalists announced in the weeks prior.
