One highly touted 2025 lineman that had been on the Washington State Cougars' radar is officially off the board.

Zac Stascausky of Portland's Central Catholic High School is rated by 247Sports as the #1 offensive tackle and the #4 overall prospect in the state of Oregon for the class of 2025. He announced his commitment to the University of Washington Huskies via X this past week.

Stascausky is listed at 6'6" and 290 pounds on his X page. He chose the Huskies over an offer from the Cougars, as well as Minnesota, Boise State, Arizona, Arizona State, and Oregon State, among others.

The Cougars currently have 16 reported commitments in the class of 2025. Just one of those commitments is listed as an offensive line prospect: three-star tackle Brayden Walton of Clovis, California.

Early Signing Day for the class of 2025 is December 4, 2024.

The Cougars kick off the 2024 football season on August 31 when they host Portland State.
