Washington State WR Kyle Williams Named To Biletnikoff Trophy Watch List

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club released the 2024 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List on Wednesday. The trophy is awarded to the best receiver in FBS, regardless of position. In other words, running backs and tight ends are also eligible, if they are utilized effectively enough.

49 total names were included in the list. Washington State senior wide receiver Kyle WIlliams was listed among the nominees.

Williams was second on the team in 2023 with with 61 receptions for 843 yards and six touchdowns. He started all 12 games for the Cougars last season.

In total, Williams has played in 37 career games with 2,411 receiving yards on 178 catches. Williams is also top ten among active FBS players in career receptions, receiving yards per game, and career receiving yards.

The Inglewood, California product is expected to feature heavily again in Ben Arbuckle's offense. The Cougars open the season at home on August 31 against Portland State.

The Biletnikoff Award Winner will be announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards on December 12, 2024.
