WSU's Josh Meredith Not Stressing Over EA Sports College Football 25 Rating
The release of EA Sports College Football 25 this summer has proven to be a major point of excitement in college football locker rooms, for multiple reasons. Some players have had adverse reactions to their teams' overall ratings, or their own player ratings, feeling it doesn't accurately represent their talent.
However, in the case of Washington State wide receiver Josh Meredith, it isn't a concern or a damper on his enjoyment of the game. Meredith is rated a 66 overall in the series' first installment in a decade.

"I don't really got any tape to my name, so they wanted to go off of tape and numbers and what not. Maybe if he had a bigger name, but it's whatever. It's still a fun game. I'm still going to sub myself in and still go for like 200. So, it doesn't change nothing."
A redshirt junior out of southern California's Mater Dei High School, Meredith appeared in all 12 of WSU's games last season but totaled just three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. Now one of the veteran leaders of the receiver room, Meredith is hungry to show what he can do with an increased role, in real life.
"I can't get comfortable. I've got to come out here every day like my spot is in jeopardy," Meredith told reporters at fall camp this week.
Until the season starts on August 31, Meredith and the rest of the Cougars will continue squaring off in EA Sports College Football 25 and continue playing as themselves.
"Play whoever you want to play, but if you don't play as the Cougs, I don't know if I can trust you a little bit."
