3-Star Cali Athlete Jamar Searcy Commits To Washington State Football For 2025

The Washington State Cougars are now up to ten commitments for the 2025 class. They received their latest one on Saturday in Pittsburgh, California's Jamar Searcy.

Searcy is classified as an athlete with a three-star rating by 247Sports. He is also listed at 5'8" and 180 pounds. Searcy announced his commitment via X.

"I am 100% committed to Washington State University! Me and my family felt like this would be a really good place for me to attend! I wanna thank Coach Atuaia and Coach Dickert and the rest of the coaching staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to continue to show my talent! I am really grateful to be apart of this new Family and Brotherhood," Searcy wrote on the social media platform.

Per his MaxPreps page, Searcy totaled 1596 yards last season, including 971 yards rushing with ten touchdowns. He also had 20 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he picked off four passes with a sack and 26 total tackles.

Searcy's first chance to sign his NLI will be December 4, 2024.
