Team USA finished with 71.1% of the possession in the game. They had three shots on goal on 15 attempts, but only needed the one score to push them through.
Competing in her first Olympic games, Rodman becomes the youngest American woman to score a goal in the knockout rounds of the Olympics at 22 years of age. In four games in Paris, Rodman has scored three goals in addition to an assist in group play. She had just four prior goals for the USWNT since she made her national team debut in 2022.
