Washington State Soccer Picked Second in WCC Coaches Poll Ahead of 2024 Campaign
In addition to landing two players on the West Coast Conference's preseason all-league team, the Washington State Cougars soccer program was picked to finish second on in the WCC in 2024.
The league released the annual preseason coaches poll this week, with the Cougars receiving two of the 11 fist-place votes. Santa Clara, who find themselves ranked #22 in the nation by the United Soccer Coaches poll.

Washington State finished with a 9-6-4 record in 2023, their final season in the Pac-12 Conference. Todd Shulenberger enters his tenth season at the helm of the Cougar program. He is two wins away from reaching the 100-win mark as WSU's head coach.
The Cougars officially kick off the 2024 schedule on August 15 at Big Ten foe Purdue.
