The season record might not indicate it, but this current University of Washington basketball team has some talent on the roster.

On Tuesday, senior Husky forward Keion Brooks earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors while junior center Braxton Meah received a spot on the all-conference defensive team and first-year guard Keyon Menifield was placed on the all-freshman team for the Huskies (16-15 overall, 8-12 All-Pac-12).

These guys and their teammates are the eighth-seeded team entering the Pac-12 Tournament and will face Colorado (16-15, 8-12) in the first game of the bracket in the on Wednesday at noon in Las Vegas, with the winner meeting top-seeded UCLA (27-4, 18-2) a day later.

A transfer from Kentucky, the 6-foot-7 Brooks for the most part has been as good as advertised this season by averaging 17.8 points per game, which ranks him third in the conference. He has a season of college eligibility remaining should he choose to use it.

Braxton Meah has started all 28 games for the UW this season.

Braxton Meah earned a spot on the Pac-12's All-Defensive Team.

The 7-foot-1 Meah, who came to the UW from Fresno State, has developed into a defensive presence inside by blocking 1.7 shots per outing, putting him fourth in the conference.

Menifield, a slender 6-foot-2 guard, has averaged 10 points per game in his first college season while becoming a starter and an exciting fixture on his team. Earlier, he was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after scoring 27 points in a 72-71 overtime victory over Oregon.
