Bralen Trice Is Bigger And Stronger Than Ever

In this story:
Washington has officially updated its roster with the latest heights and weights with fall camp just over a week away. One of the most notable weight changes is edge rusher Bralen Trice, who has gained five pounds and is now listed on the roster at 274 pounds.
The Walter Camp and Athlon Preseason First-Team All-America selection has turned into one of the best pass rushers in the country and clearly has more that he wants to add to his game. In 2022, Kalen DeBoer added Ben Creamer to his staff, who refined the finesse and hand-fighting aspect of Washington's entire group of pass rushers.

Creamer, a black belt in judo who also trained in boxing and wing chun kung fu, made a big impact on Trice, who has established a complete arsenal of pass-rush moves. With his added weight, Trice appears to want to work on more bull rushes and power moves.
If he carries the extra poundage well and can move the same way he did in 2022, Trice could take another step forward in his development and establish himself as a first-round pick in the NFL draft. However, it won't be easy to separate himself from the pack because the class of 2024 holds some high-end talent.

Standing out in the Pac-12 is hard enough for defensive players, but Trice also has to compete with Florida State's Jared Verse, Ohio State's J.T. Tuimoloau, Alabama's Dallas Turner, and UCLA's Laiatu Latu. With an inexperienced rotation behind him, Trice looks like he could have an added production boost on the horizon.

I've followed the Huskies for my entire life, and to be in a position where I get to cover them full-time is nothing short of an honor. After graduating from Lasell University in 2019, I moved to Seattle to pursue my dream of working in sports media. While writing for the Husky Haul, I also covered local sports for the Everett Daily Herald before the COVID-19 pandemic. After being hired by Realdawg.com in February of 2021, I also transitioned into doing a lot of entertainment writing, as I work on a variety of magazines as a contributing writer for Centennial Media, and have also contributed to Emmy Magazine, as well as Walt Disney Television Studios.
