Gaskin Makes NFL Debut with Miami

Myles Gaskin, Washington's all-time leading rusher, made his NFL debut on Sunday, appearing in the Miami Dolphins' 16-12 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Gaskin, a seventh-round draft pick, didn't carry the ball but he came up with a reception.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back from Lynnwood, Washington, has patiently waited for his pro opportunity. He sat out the first eight games for a struggling Dolphins team, now 2-7.
Gaskin earned his chance to play after Mark Walton drew a four-game suspension for violating the NFL conduct and substance abuse policy. Walton was arrested three times in the offseason.
Miami uses Kalen Ballage as its starter at running back. Gaskin and fellow rookie Patrick Laird will provide back-up.
Gaskin finished with 5,323 yards rushing as a collegian, the third-highest total in Pac-12 history.
