Coach Peterson: Getting The Dawgs Ready for USC
The University of Washington Huskies are back on Montlake this week, preparing to face their toughest challenge at this point of the 2019 season. The USC Trojans come to town fresh off of a thrilling 30-23 victory over it’s Pac 12 South nemesis, Utah. Utah was a pre-season favorite to win the Pac 12 South and compete for the conference championship, but the win by USC has put a wrinkle in those plans.
The Trojans, as usual, are stacked with talent at all of their skilled positions, and are currently sitting at the number 1 position in the Pac 12 South. They are also currently ranked the #21 team in the nation. Husky Head Coach Chris Petersen knows that USC will be a true test of his young Husky squad.
“This team that we’re going to play is really improving”, said Petersen during his Monday press conference from Husky Stadium. “They have a lot of skill, and this will be our biggest challenge so far.”
