Friday Night Lights

A glimpse of pre-game activity at Reser Stadium

Friday Night Lights /

An hour away from kickoff, I see Reser Stadium up close. Haven't been to Corvallis for a football game since the Don James era. Used to be called Parker Stadium.

It's been more than two and a half decades.

Oregon State has a nice looking facility. All the modern amenities. Looks pretty on the outside. The food offerings look better than most places I've been.

Same as Husky Stadium, the crowd is late arriving. Players are warming up in an empty facility. Loud music echoes through the stands.

Looks like a great opportunity for some Friday Night Lights. Don't see the Dillon Panthers or Riggins or Coach Taylor anywhere. But this will work.

Watch the video and take a little tour of Reser before things get busy.
