3-Star WR Justice Williams Discusses Washington
Wide receiver is an incredibly important part of Kalen DeBoer's offensive system, so bringing in multiple talented players through both high school recruiting and the transfer portal is important to its continued success. Washington has zeroed in on Oaks Christian wide receiver Justice Williams as one of those targets in the class of 2024.
Justice is the son of former NFL tight end Roland Williams who played eight seasons in the league and won Super Bowl XXXIV with the St. Louis Rams. Roland has helped coach his son, who holds 17 scholarship offers, in more ways than one.
"I've learned a lot from my dad," Justice said. "He's taught me about both the old school mentality of working hard every day and the new school of NIL and how I can use that to the best of my abilities going forward."
The 6-4, 205-pound prospect has a busy month ahead of him. He's scheduled to take official visits to Washington, Utah, and his father's alma mater, Syracuse in June. Williams said he also scheduled an unofficial visit with UCLA.
"Washington is an amazing school and I really love what they have to offer," he said. "I'm really looking forward to getting to experience the campus and the people up there."
Over the course of his recruitment, wide receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard has been the primary point of contact and Williams said that the two have developed a close relationship.
"Coach Shep is a great guy," he said. "He's met my whole family, has told me that he really likes my size and weight and wants to turn me into an NFL receiver."
After his busy month full traveling the country, Williams said that he wants to make his college decision before the beginning of his senior year.
