Playing linebacker for St. John Bosco High School, Deven Bryant and Khmori House were one class and four uniform numbers apart.

Now it appears that Kalen DeBoer's University of Washington recruiters are doing their best to keep these two close together.

One has a Husky scholarship in his possession, the other a UW offer.

On Thursday night, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound House revealed he's received an opportunity to come to Montlake if he so chooses, with UW co-defensive coordinator William Inge bidding for the services of this Class of 2024 prospect.

"I'm fast, I'm just trying to get bigger," House told the Long Beach Press-Telegram.

For much of their CIF Division I championship season last fall, House and Bryant, No. 2 and 6 in the game program for their Bellflower, California, school shared the second row for the 13-1 Braves, who finished ranked No. 1 in the nation.

The 5-foot-11, 217-pound Bryant piled up 96 tackles as the leader of the defense; House had 29 after missing five regular-season games with a thigh injury. The understudy, affectionately referred to as "K House," also came up with 3 tackles for loss, 3 pass break-ups and a pair of sacks.

As his recruiting just begins to take off, House has other offers from Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Colorado, Oregon State, Washington State, San Jose State and Morgan State.

The St. John Bosco defense will now center around House as it did for Bryant last season.

"Only was just getting started," House posted on social media. "Now watch me come back next season."
