Khmori House Is An Important Husky Target
Establishing a pipeline from St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California, is one of the best things that any football program on the West Coast can do. Kalen DeBoer's coaching staff started that process in the class of 2023, earning a commitment from former Bosco linebacker and captain Deven Bryant.
Now the staff is trying to secure a commitment from his teammate, three-star linebacker Khmori House. The 486th-ranked player in the country is expected to arrive on June 23 for his final official visit before returning home to make a decision between Washington, Texas and Auburn.
After his official visit to the University of Texas on June 16, House told Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods that his recruitment is "too close to call" coming into his visit. He followed that up by stating that his plan following his official visit to Seattle is to return home, speak with Steve Sarkisian's coaching staff at Texas one last time and then make his decision shortly after.
House looks like the perfect linebacker for the scheme co-defensive coordinator William Inge likes to run up front. While he mainly plays on the edge as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 front in high school, his athleticism would help him transition smoothly into the 4-2-5 scheme the Huskies run.
His tape shows a lot of speed and a knack for finding the football in both the run and pass game. House is excellent in coverage and could be asked to man up against linebackers at the next level thanks to his speed, athleticism, and football IQ.
With the emphasis the coaching staff has put on adding talent and depth to the defense in the class of 2024, House has the potential to be a huge get for Washington.
