As the Washington coaching staff continues its tour of the western United States before returning to Seattle to host official visits, it has handed out a lot of offers to some promising underclassmen. One of the latest recruits to receive an offer is 2026 St. Augustine linebacker Ezaya Tokio.

Tokio is a rare specimen of a linebacker. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, there aren't a lot of players at the position who possess the kind of size and movement skills that he does on film.

The Huskies became the fourth Pac-12 school to offer the rising sophomore a scholarship, following Oregon State, California and Washington State. The San Diego native has also announced offers from San Diego State and the University of Nevada.

Tokio's film displays an advanced football IQ for a high school freshman as well as excellent athleticism for his size. Lining up at both inside and outside linebacker, Tokio tackles well, understands his role in coverage, and attacks the ball carrier in a flash before he can get back to the line of scrimmage.

While it looks like he had a limited role as a freshman on the varsity team, Tokio was still able to make an impact during his first year. He recorded 34 total tackles and should make a major jump production-wise during his sophomore season.

As he continues to add weight to his frame, Tokio looks like the kind of prospect who is going to reel in 25-30 offers and be ranked within the top 150 players nationally.
