Brandon White: The Walking Web Gem

West Virginia center fielder Brandon White came up huge last night in the Mountaineers 5-1 victory over the top-seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders. White has proven throughout his career to make incredible diving catches with ease and his defensive prowess showcased once again Thursday night.
On this play in the sixth inning, it appeared that the Red Raiders were about to tie the game up and potentially have the go-ahead run at second, before White flung his body into the air making a clutch play.
"I just got a good jump on it and hoped for the best." White said.
Another day, another #SCTop10-worthy catch for Brandon White!!

Yet again in the seventh, with only one out he caught a shallow line drive ball forcing the runner to stay at first. "It just hung up in the air." said White. "I didn't realize it was going to stay up as long, I just got to it."

Hey @SportsCenter, when was the last time a player made two #SCTop10 plays in the same game?

Both of those catches were critical for the Mountaineers to maintain their lead. To end White’s stellar night he had a great RBI single to right-center to put WVU up 5-1.
West Virginia starting pitcher Alek Manoah commented on White's plays following the game. "It's unreal. That never gets talked about. It's like every time he catches one, it's the best one yet. It's unbelievable."
