WVU Baseball Reveals New Uniforms
Today marks the start of the 2023 baseball season for West Virginia as they open up a three-game series on the road against the Georgia Southern Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
If you're an avid watcher of WVU baseball, you'll notice something right away - the Mountaineers' new look. Over the last four years, the athletic department has made steady progress in rebranding its wordmark and number font to have a consistent look throughout each of its programs.
The baseball team added a gray uniform with the updated look last year, but this year, they're adding gold and white jersey's with "Mountaineers" scripted across the chest.
Last year, the gold, blue, white, and gray jerseys all had different fonts for the numbers.
