Backyard Brawl in West Virginia TBT Regional is a Possibility

This year's TBT could be extremely interesting.

Wheeling will be home to the West Virginia regional in this year's The Basketball Tournament, moving from its Charleston location where it's been the past two years.

The matchups for the tournament have not been set yet, but a few teams have already been told which regional they will be playing in. That's the case for the Zoo Crew aka the Pitt alumni, who will be playing in West Virginia regional.

It wouldn't make much sense to pit these two against each other in the first-round but maybe in a potential second-round matchup. However, if TBT wants to ensure that they get this Best Virginia vs. Zoo Crew game, maybe they do make it a first-round game.

So far, Best Virginia has four players committed to playing: John Flowers, Kevin Jones, Nathan Adrian, and Kedrian Johnson.

Last year, Best Virginia downed Bucketneers to win the Charleston, WV regional but fell to Red Scare 67-60 in the quarterfinals in Dayton.
