Big 12 School Pursuing Mohamed Wague
Since the transfer portal re-opened and West Virginia named Josh Eilert the interim head coach, the Mountaineers have lost two bigs to the transfer portal, Mohamed Wague and James Okonkwo.
Wague is open to a return to West Virginia but wants to get a feel for what else is out there. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Wague has scheduled visits with DePaul and Big 12 Conference rival, Kansas State.
Assuming Syracuse transfer Jesse Edwards sticks it out at WVU, Wague would be vying for a rotational role off the bench. In limited action across 28 games this past season, Wague shot the ball at an extremely efficient rate of 74% but on just 2.2 attempts per game.
