BREAKING: Georgetown Transfer Akok Akok Commits to WVU

West Virginia adds Georgetown transfer forward Akok Akok

Friday night, Georgetown transfer foreard Akok Akok committed to the West Virginia University men's basketball program.

Akok averaged 6.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game last season after averaging 3.4 and 3.2, respectively, a year prior at UConn.

Akok spent his first three collegiate seasons at UCONN before transferring to Georgetown last season.

Akok faced the Mountaineers during the 2021-22 season in Morgantown, where he grabbed 10 rebounds and chipped in two points in the Mountaineers 56-53 win over the Huskies.
