Jalen Bridges Announces Return to Baylor

The former Mountaineer is not done playing college basketball yet.

Jalen Bridges is forgoing the opportunity of professional basketball and is returning to Baylor. The former West Virginia forward and Fairmont, WV native announced on Twitter Wednesday.

Bridges tested the NBA waters by entering his name in the draft and participated in a few pre-draft workouts before withdrawing his entry earlier this month. According to Jeff Goodman of Stadium, Bridges also considered playing professionally in Australia.

In his first year with the Bears, Bridges averaged 10.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from the floor and 32% from three-point range. In his return game to WVU, Bridges helped lead Baylor to an 83-78 win posting 10 points and 11 rebounds.
