Do you remember that time when Kansas outshot West Virginia at the free throw line 35-2 a few years back? Do you remember Bob Huggins going at the official at the scorer's table to voice his frustration after getting ejected? If you don't, here's a little friendly reminder.

Huggins didn't go after the official that gave him the hook, Jamie Luckie. He went after John Higgins, an official who has not been all that popular to West Virginia fans over the years. Higgins has been known to be a whistle-happy official and during WVU's Press Virginia years, Higgins issued a ton of fouls on the Mountaineers, many of which were on the tacky side.

The good news? Higgins is hanging up his whistle, seemingly for good. According to Jeff Goodman of Stadium, Higgins has moved into a new role as the Coordinator of Officials for the Basketball Officiating Consortium.

"Higgins will oversee recruiting, selecting, developing, evaluating, and assigning officials for every men’s basketball game hosted by schools in the WBOC, which comprises the PAC-12, Mountain West, WCC, Big Sky, Big West, and WAC."
