POLL: What Is More Likely - WVU Reaching a Bowl Game or Making NCAA Tournament?

The fans voice their opinion.

Most years, reaching a bowl game in football and securing a bid in the NCAA Tournament for the men's basketball team is no tough task for West Virginia. But over the last few years, things have changed. The transfer portal, NIL, and more recently, coaching changes have taken away the near guarantee of seeing the Mountaineers participate in the postseason. 

In three of the four years Neal Brown has been the head football coach, WVU has finished the season with a losing record. And with the basketball team going through a coaching change and several players leaving the program, there's a lot of uncertainty about what the 2023-24 season will look like for the Mountaineers on the hardwood.

So with both programs facing an uphill battle next season, I asked the fans on Twitter - What is more likely to happen? Reaching a bowl game or the NCAA Tournament? Of the 748 voters, 59.6% say the men's team making the tournament, while 40.4% say the football team is more likely to end up in a bowl game.
