Schuyler Callihan: West Virginia 71, Kansas State 67

West Virginia might be a bit shorthanded in the frontcourt for the regular season finale against Kansas State but that doesn't keep me from picking them to win the game. The small ball lineup that WVU went to did a really good job of spacing the floor and finding shots on offense and coming up with several stops on defense in the win over Iowa State. And surprisingly enough, they competed on the boards with Emmitt Matthews Jr. acting as the center.

With this being the final home game for Matthews, Erik Stevenson, and Kedrian Johnson, I believe they'll find a way to get the job done and punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

Christopher Hall: West Virginia 81 Kansas State 76

The Mountaineers are coming together and playing their best basketball of the season while the Wildcats are on a four-game winning streak.

West Virginia had every opportunity to beat Kansas State in the conference opener but went 20-38 from the foul line. It was one of several areas the Mountaineers have cleaned up through the course of the season.

Kansas State is indeed playing well and appear primed to make a postseason run but West Virginia's mentality of 'refuse to lose' spearheaded by forward Emmitt Matthews Jr. I believe gives WVU the edge in this one. Mountaineers send the seniors out on a high note 81-76.
