Seth Wilson Expected to Miss Home Game vs. UCF
West Virginia guard Seth Wilson missed Saturday's home game against Baylor due to a death in the family and according to interim head coach Josh Eilert, he will likely miss Tuesday's contest versus UCF.
"I don't think Seth's going to be here for tomorrow's game. The service is here today and he's still nursing that groin injury as well, so I'm not trying to rush him back by any means. They had the viewing yesterday and coach (Jordan) McCabe and (Director of Basketball and Olympic Sports Equipment Operations) Kyle Keesler went up there and spent some time with him. It's a sad situation for him and his family. We'll see him coming up this weekend, but I don't anticipate having him here tomorrow."
In 23 games played this season, Wilson is averaging four points, 1.9 rebounds, and one assist per game while shooting 31% from the field and 37% from three.
West Virginia and UCF will tip things off at 7 p.m. EST on ESPNU.
