Spread: SMU -2.5

1-star play on SMU covering (-2.5): I'm back and forth on this one,  so much that I've changed this pick at least four times. It's a stay away, in my opinion. But since we have to make a pick, I'll put a very small lean toward SMU. If they can get after it on the defensive end of the floor and cause West Virginia's guards to turn it over 12+ times, I like their chances.

Over/Under: 144.5

4-star play on the under: The first game in a new venue for both teams always provides an opportunity for an under. Depth perceptions take a while to get used to and it'll be the first time both teams has played away from its home floor. A total over 140 in a West Virginia game just seems extremely high right now, regardless of the opponent. In three games against lesser competition, the most WVU has scored is 70. Heavily confident about this total.
