Norman, OK - The Oklahoma Sooners (14-3, 2-2) outrebounded West Virginia 33-19 and bullied the Mountaineers (6-11, 1-3) in the second half to take a 77-63 victory.

The Mountaineers built a six-point lead at the 8:13 mark of the first half but three consecutive West Virginia turnovers paved the way for an 8-0 Sooners run for a 20-18 lead with just under six minutes to play in the first half. 

Oklahoma took a four-point advantage into halftime 29-25.

West Virginia and Oklahoma shot under 40% in the first half. Sooners guard Milos Uzan led all-scorers at the break with seven points while West Virginia forward Pat Suemnick led the Mountaineers in scoring with six. 

The Mountaineers opened the second half shooting 1-5 from the field, and consecutive turnovers by point guard Kerr Kriisa helped the Sooners extended its lead to 10 at the 15:32 mark.

The Sooners steadily built a 19-point advantage behind 10 points from guard Otega Oweh with under eight minutes remaining in the game. 

After holding Oklahoma to 37.9% from the field in the first half and forcing nine turnovers, the Sooners shot 63.6% from the floor in the second half and maintained the double-digit lead in the final moments for the 77-63 win.
