What the ESPN BPI Says About WVU at TCU

Can the Mountaineers avoid the road sweep in Texas?

For the second time in three days, the West Virginia Mountaineers will look to secure their first road win of the year as they take on the TCU Horned Frogs.

According to the ESPN BPI, West Virginia has just a 5.7% chance to pick up the road win while TCU has a 94.3% chance to move to 17-7 on the year.

TCU enters this matchup on a two-game slide having lost to Texas by 11 and at Iowa State by 12. Prior to this skid, the Frogs won three straight taking down Oklahoma State, Baylor (three overtimes), and Texas Tech.

Jamie Dixon's squad is one of the most efficient three-point shooting teams in the Big 12, making 35% of their shots from downtown on a league-low 419 attempts. The ball is priority for them on both ends of the floor. TCU ranks third in the league in assists per game (17.8) and third in steals (9.1).

West Virginia hopes to have the memory of a goldfish after getting pounced by Texas less than 48 hours ago, 94-58. The Mountaineers managed to only make 38% of their shots from the field, meanwhile Texas connected on 51% from the floor and 46% from three.
