WVU Men's Basketball will Open the 2024-25 Season Against Robert Morris

The Mountaineers will meet the Colonials for the first time since 2010

On Tuesday, the West Virginia University Athletics Communications Department announced the West Virginia University men’s basketball team will face the Robert Morris Colonials in coach Darian DeVries’ first official game as Mountaineer coach in the 2024-25 season opener on Monday, Nov. 4 at the WVU Coliseum.

West Virginia leads the all-time series over Robert Morris 19-2. The two teams last met on Dec. 7, 2010, an 82-49 Mountaineer victory at the Coliseum. The Colonials two wins came in consecutive seasons in 1988 and '89.
