WVU Portal Target Avery Anderson III Chooses Transfer Destination

Anderson remains a Big 12 foe.

West Virginia had been in contact with former Oklahoma State guard Avery Anderson III but he will not be heading to Morgantown. Instead, Anderson will remain a Big 12 foe and transfer to TCU.

The veteran guard spent all four years of his career in Stillwater and did his fair share of damage against the Mountaineers. In eight games against West Virginia, Anderson averaged 12.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 steals.

Anderson averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game for his career and has shot 41% from the field, 26% from three, and 80% from the free throw line.

Anderson will have one year of eligibility remaining.
