Beanie Bishop and Zach Frazier Earn First Team All-Big 12 Selections

The Big 12 Conference released its 2023 season awards Wednesday afternoon with Mountaineers Beanie Bishop, Zach Frazier, Wyatt Milum and Kole Taylor earning All-Big 12 selections

The West Virginia University football program was well represented with 19 Mountaineers listed on the 2023 All-Big 12 Conference teams as selected by the league coaches.

Center Zach Frazier and cornerback Beannie Biship earned first team selections. 

Frazier led an offensive line that helped paved away for the nation's third leading rushing attack, first among Power Five schools, averaging 234.3 rushing yards per game. 

Bishop led the NCAA with 20 pass breakups this season and his four interceptions on the years ranked 16th nationally. 

Tight end Kole Taylor and left tackle Wyatt Milum were listed on the second team. 

Kole Taylor led the team in receptions (33), his four receiving touchdowns were tied for the team lead with redshirt freshman receiver Hudson Clement and was second on the team in receiving yards (411).

Fifteen Mountaineers were listed All-Big 12 Honorable Mention: quarterback Garrett Greene, receiver Preston Fox, running backs CJ Donaldson and Jahiem White, offensive linemen Doug Nester, Tomas Rimac and Brandon Yates, defensive linemen Sean Martin, Mike Lockhart, Eddie Vesterinen, safety Aubrey Burks, linebackers Ben Cutter and Lee Kpogba, punter Oliver Straw and kicker Michael Hayes.
