Frazier Named Sporting News All-American

West Virginia University center Zach Frazier tabbed Sporting News All-American

West Virginia center Zach Frazier was selected to the Sporting News Preseason All-American team Tuesday afternoon, marking his third preseason All-American selection this offseason (Athlon Sports, The Athletic).

The Fairmont native has made 25 consecutive starts at center for the Mountaineers after earning a starting role as a true freshman at the beginning the COVID-19 season. 

Last season, Frazier anchored an offensive line that helped clear the way for a rushing attack that averaged 171.5 yards a game while tallying 51 knockdown blocks to earn a first team All-Big 12 Conference selection.

Frazier has also been nominated for the Wuerffel Trophy, Outland Trophy, Lombardi Award and Rimington Trophy.
